The Garfield Diamond Sports Booster Club runs winter preseason baseball and softball training programs, open to all prospective GHS baseball and softball players. These programs are designed to prepare athletes for the upcoming high school season and tryouts.

Baseball

The 2026 baseball program features indoor sessions held on Sundays (1/4, 1/11, 1/25, 2/1, 2/8, 2/22, 3/1) at Focus Training in Green Lake, led by Coach Z and a pitching instructor, and outdoor sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays (starting 1/6) at the Garfield High School Upper Field, focused on defensive drills, catcher and infielder EDDs, and long toss. The registration fee is $175 and registration is through the booster club website. Participants will use the Demosphere app for all scheduling, RSVPs, and weather-related updates.

Softball

The 2026 softball program is 4:30 pm - 6:00 pm on Tuesdays from Jan 6 through Feb 24, at Go Time Athletics SODO.
